FAQs

Question 1) Is someone waiting for us at the airport and what about the transport from Belgrade to Kragujevac?

Answer:

All participants of the European University Volleyball Championship Kragujevac 2011 who are arriving by plane via Belgrade (Nikola Tesla Airport) or perhaps via Nish (Constantine airport) will be transported immediately after landing to our accommodation facilities in Kragujevac. At the airport a counter will be set up which will be indicated by a logo of EUSA and a logo of the Championship so that everyone can recognize it. At this counter your hosts (our volunteers) wait for their respective teams and lead them to the shuttle buses with which they will travel to the city of Kragujevac, the host of this year’s EUC Volleyball.

Question 2) How far away is Kragujevac from Belgrade?

Answer:

The distance from the capitol Belgrade to Kragujevac is exactly 144km via highway. The journey takes about an hour and 20 minutes.

Question 3) The referees?

Answer:

Every team participating in EUVolleybal 2011 is obliged to bring to the competition a volleyball referee of the highest national ranking of their country. If they do not do so, the team is obliged to pay the sum of 1000 euros to the Organizing Committee on behalf of the costs of the engagement of professional referees in the host countr. Costs of accommodation, food, EUSA fees for the judges are charged to the Organizing Committee.
